I feel completely silly, posting the "official" release when everyone already knows, but after hours of hair pulling, Sunil and I came up with the blurb and I had to share! *L*

Congrats! Good agents too! (I took a workshop/one day seminar from them after NASFIC last year and learned a LOT!)

"Where slangy fairies fly on wires" ALSO has a ring. Sort of a "clong!" noise, no? *G*

How is Ashley as an agent btw. I think he's the agent of a friend, who recommended him. (And if he's not a "he" than I'm thinking of the wrong one. ;-)

Er, well, I'd say a three-book hardcover deal for a new writer who's only ever been published in magazines pretty much sums it up.

Ashley is a HE, and Carolyn is his wife. they both are agents - and they kind of split what they represent according to their individual areas of interest.

That will only cost you 5% - the info that they only accept submissions flown in on dragons every third Friday will cost you another 10%.

Better than a secret handshake. Of course, you haven't told me whether it's UPS, FedX or DHL that has the dragons. :-)

fairies
This is great news! I am curious, are the fairies the little kind or the tall kind?

Re: fairies
The fairies in question are from Midsummer Night's Dream (Peaseblossom, Cobweb, Moth and Mustard Seed) and are small enough to ride on Bertie's shoulder... probably no taller than 4 inches?

Re: fairies

Is there a longer annotation or excerpt online somewhere that I could point to on our blog for teens (acplteens.wordpress.com)? Our fantasy fans love to be the first to know about intriguing new series....

Re: fairies
Hey Mari! (I just realized your's JEN'S Friend Mari... *G*) We don't have anything prepared yet, although I could generate something for you. How long of a description would you like?

As soon as we get the website up and running, we'll have longer blurbs and--closer to release--the first chapter online.

Re: fairies
I know there will be some cool content coming later, which is why I want to post *now* ;-)
I could just use the teaser annotation... but something the length of a short paragraph with a little more plot hint would also be lurvely.
